Selim Türkoğlu:

        Selim Türkoglu was born in 1960 in Erzincan-Refahiye. In 1987 he got toknow the Penman Ali Rüstü Oran, one of the pupil´s of the Penman Mustafa Halim Bey. With him he began the fine line script sample and finished it with the Penman Selcuk Erkurt. And in 1990 he got a degree/diploma in the writings, named “Sülüs” and “Nesih”. For a few while he continued the lessons in the Süleymaniye libarary of the Penman Prof. Ali Alparslan and profited by him. In 2010 he moved his graphic atelier, he opened in 1990 in Fatih, to PERPA. In the category of  Fine line (Hüsn- i hat) he was awardad the prize by the Ministry  of Culture and Tourism.

        He possesses the artistic card of the Ministry of Cultur and Tourism. He is a member of “GESAM” Turkish Trade Uninon of the Owner of  Fine Art. At home and abroad he made over 20 self exhibitions. And gave a series of conferences on the topic “Hüsn-i hat sanati”,  “Fine line art”. He printed articles in various newspapers and magazines. He published a book named “Ruhi  Hendese”, has to do with graphic art.

        In addition to the hudered of panels of art lovers, he´d decoraded, he wrote elif-ba alphabets, evrad-i serifler, the writing of the Istanbul Yerebatan Mosque´s Cihar-i Yar- i Güzin, the wrtiting at the top on the door of Büyükcekmece Türkoba Mosque, the whole writing of PendikRamazanoglu Mahmud Sami (k.s.) Mosque, a part of the writing of Karabas-i Veli Mosque, the writing at the top of a mosque in Bosnia and the whole writing of the “Nuremberg Eyüp Sultan Mosque” in Germany.

        He is still continuing his art activites with the purpose of representing the Fine Graphic art in a very good way.
